Interior design for a creative office refurbishment for North East marketing and PR specialist Gardiner Richardson.
Their light, open offices at Generator Studios were an inspiring starting point, incorporating a library, meeting rooms, a kitchen-diner and a mezzanine deck known as ‘The Loft’, plus open plan studio space for 40 staff. They wanted us to bring these spaces together in a stimulating creative environment that allowed ‘everything everywhere’ – giving every area the potential to be a creative workspace, from the library to the diner.
Our resulting scheme introduced concepts such as magnetic wall surfaces throughout to allow for creative sessions in any location. We developed The Loft to feature a cosy larger-than-life corner couch, while below the mezzanine in the library we designed a contemporary fireside setting with high-back chairs and a real flame fire.
