The design team breathed new life into an iconic listed building, preserving its use into the future, and making it fit for this digitally focussed organisation. The result is an environment which inspires and excites with a diverse mix of agile work settings, promoting a feeling of well being for staff whilst maximising opportunities for collaboration.

The scheme provides a flexible layout, facilitating change and future expansion. Improvements have been made to the physical connections between spaces to improve movement and views. The 35,000 sq.ft. headquarters now includes a cafe hub, lecture theatre, exhibition space and gym. The use of graphic images around the building helps with wayfinding, adds visual interest and highlights the historic building’s identity, also complimenting the brand identity of NBS.
