Comprehensive design of a community and leisure centre development, seen as a real catalyst for regeneration in a challenging area of South Northumberland.

Working as an integral part of the design team, the scope of our brief was huge, requiring designs for the look and feel of swimming pools, sports halls, a gym, spa, soft-play facilities, library and a Council customer services centre.

Our response was a contemporary scheme using durable, flexible materials, not only reflecting the bold architectural plans and the varied uses of the venue but also supporting the Council’s aim of streamlining the public’s interaction with its services.
